Johannes Oberzaucher is a Professor for Active and Assisted Living at the University of Applied Sciences Kärnten, heads the Department of Health and Assistive Technologies at the Institute for Applied Research on Aging (IARA) and is part of the Austrian Research Group for Assisted Living Technologies (RALTEC). He has many years of experience in the development of Smart Living technologies and, in the development of systems based on an interdisciplinary and user-centered R & D approach.

 

Short Description of the Keynote Speech

The talk will present a vision on how the future of smart ageing could look like. More concretely it will provide a vision of integrated care including silver technology, its chances and limitations. Living Lab strategies for long term anchoring of technology in the households of older people and the related quadruple stakeholders will be discussed.
