Since the winter semester 2012, Johann Füller has
been a university professor at the Department of Innovation and
Entrepreneurship at the Department of Strategic Management, Marketing and
Tourism at the University of Innsbruck. The board of Munich Innovation Agency
HYVE is a Fellow at NASA Tournament Lab Research at Harvard University and
visiting faculty at IUM. He earned his doctorate in marketing with the topic
"Community Based Innovations - Virtual Integration of Online Consumer
Groups into New Product Development" with Prof. Hans Mühlbacher,
LFU Innsbruck and Prof. Eric von Hippel, MIT. The graduated mechanical engineer
and industrial engineer completed his career with a Master in
International Business, as well as the Euro-Certificate for Engineers.
Study visits took him to USA, France and Spain.
Since his graduation he teaches at the Institute for Strategic Management, Marketing and Tourism at the University of Innsbruck; Prof. Dr. Johann Füller researches innovative customer behavior in online communities as well as the use of online communities for product development.
He regularly lectures and lectures on open and autonomous innovation, online communities, innovation management and virtual customer integration in product development. Accompanying the research, Füller publishes articles and articles in various journals, including the Harvard Business Manager, the Journal of Product Innovation Management, the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Travel Research, and Technovation.
