Tarja Heinonen works as a development Manager at Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK), Finland. She is in charge of one R&D’s strategic focus area “New models for health care and social services” and its project portfolio in TAMK. She has ran many R&D projects with special focus areas on services and wellbeing technology for elderly people, user-centered wellbeing technology, home care and remote rehabilitation. TAMK’s projects emphasize Living Lab activities in real settings bringing together companies, researchers and end users.
The presentation focus how through co-creation companies innovate smart technology and services together with senior housing providers to better meet the needs of the users.
The presentation also gives an overview of The Virtual Lab, which will be innovative learning and research lab for companies, service providers and TAMK´s R&D. In the Lab we develop, test and put forward ideas for tomorrow´s health and smart ageing.
